Day 1: Fly overnight to England

​

Day 2: London – Meet your Tour Director at the airport in London Drive through the Museum District and admire the Royal Albert Hall. Check out the lively five-way intersection at Piccadilly Circus as well as street entertainment in Covent Garden. – Take a walking tour of London.

 

Day 3: London – Explore the Tower of London.  Tower’s most famous occupants—the Crown Jewels—still reside here today. – Take an expert-led walking tour of London: Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster, and Parliament Square. – Spend some free time discovering London or ride the London Eye.

 

Day 4: London | Paris – See the Changing of the Guard. – Take the Eurostar train to Paris and enjoy your introduction to Paris at Montmartre, the highest natural point in the city.

 

Day 5: Paris – Take a sightseeing tour led by an expert local guide. Pass by Les Invalides and Place de la Concorde, ride along the Champs-Élysées, and end at the Arc de Triomphe. – Spend some free time discovering Paris’s wonders or visit Versailles. – Enjoy a Seine River cruise.

 

Day 6: Paris | Milan – Visit the Louvre and explore art from around the world as you wander from wing to wing of one of Paris’s biggest attractions and the most visited museum in the world. Enter by I.M. Pei’s glass pyramid, considered a controversial addition by many resident Parisians. – Fly to Milan.

Day 7: Milan | Florence – Travel by bus to Florence. – Enjoy the panoramic view from Piazzale. – Take an expert-led walking tour of Florence: Ponte Vecchio; Piazza della Signoria; Duomo; Chiesa di Santa Croce.

 

Day 8: Rome – Travel to Rome to discover a city that integrates its past into the present better than any other.  – Take an expert-led tour of Vatican City: Marvel at Michelangelo’s breathtaking ceiling in the Sistine Chapel and look out for the colorful uniforms of the Swiss Guard, protectors of the Vatican City. – Visit the Sistine Chapel. – Visit St. Peter’s Basilica. – Enjoy an evening discovering Rome.

 

Day 9: Rome – Explore the world’s most famous arena, the Colosseum, where you can almost hear the stamping feet of the crowds gathered for gladiatorial combat. Nearby, the Roman Forum marks the former heart of the Roman Empire. – Enjoy discovery time in Rome to see the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the Spanish Steps. Before you say “arrivederci,” toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure a return trip to the Eternal City. – Explore on your own or try a Taste of Italy.

 

Day 10: Depart for home
