• Fly to Belize

• Travel to Monkey Bay

• Orientation

Day 2: 

• Depart for Belmopan or Belize City

• Conduct screenings + formal and informal evaluations

• Return to Monkey Bay

 

Day 3:   

• Learn about SOAP notes and report writing

• Travel to Belize National Park

• Experience a cave tubing tour

• Take a guided tour hiking through the jungle

Day 4: 

• Depart for San Ignacio

• Take a guided walking tour of San Ignacio

• Introduction to the community health workers program

• Orientation at a local hospital

​

Day 5:  

• Depart for Village

• Complete assessments and evaluations with health care workers

​

Day 6:   

• Depart for Octavio Waight Home for the Elderly

• Visit with long-term care residents

• Conduct cognitive evaluations

​

Day 7:   

• Continue SOAP notes and Report Writing

• Free time to explore

​

Day 8: 

• Continue assessments and evaluation with health workers

• Visit Xunantunich Mayan Ruins

• Board a small ferry to cross the Belize River

​

Day 9:   

• Host an open clinic at a local school

• Finish report writing

​

Day10:   

• Depart for home
